Exquisite Corpse

  • The Liminal Store 8142 SW Beaverton Portland, OR. 97225 US (map)

Event Description

Join us for a playful and imaginative Exquisite Corpse Drawing Workshop, where we’ll create bizarre, hilarious, and unexpected artworks together! This collaborative drawing game—popularized by surrealist artists—invites multiple participants to contribute to a single piece without seeing the full image until the reveal.

Three people take turns drawing different sections of a figure. One person starts with the head and shoulders, the next adds the torso, and the final artist completes everything below the waist—without knowing what the others have drawn. The result? A wonderfully strange and unexpected creation!

You will be given a brief history of Exquisite Corpse and go over the basic instructions. We will have timed rounds of drawing. This activity is all skill levels and all materials will be provided.
